Trigger Point

2010-2011

Trigger Point grew from a popular national brand to being acquired by one of the largest international fitness distribution companies.

Trigger Point Performance was a company that started out of the founders van in the early 2000’s and by 2008 had gained national recognition, 25+ employees, resellers and brand ambassadors. Later, in 2014 Trigger Point was acquired by fitness powerhouse Implus. While at Trigger Point my goal was to build the brand, acquire international channel partners and manage over 50 national and international events with customers, ambassadors each year.

Outcomes and Responsibilities:

  • When I started at Trigger Point they were in very niche markets and my goal was to expand their reach into professional sports to the olympics to new resellers/partners and to the everyday runner. We achieved this by being extremely selective in the events we participated in, customer referrals, athlete ambassadors, continuous education on our products, and always delivery 5 star customer success.

  • To break in to the international market I organized for TP to high profile fitness events with 50,000+ attendees, distributors, resellers etc in attendance. Here they were able to see the value from users, test the product and directly develop a relationship with us. As a result, we sold thousands of units of products and grew the business to an international brand.

  • I managed our multi-level team that included sponsored athletes, resellers, retail partners, distributors, and our internal sales experience team.

  • During my time at TP we saw a 45% growth in business and increased or reseller and distributor growth by over 40%.
