Successfully expanded the presence and growth of Kaplan in a newly identified region.

Kaplan Test Prep was a pioneer and industry leader in the test preparation world. Kaplan prepared hundreds of thousands of people each year pre and post-college. Kaplan's product line ranged from ACT, SAT prep to MCAT and LSAT prep for entrance in to medical or law school; along with board certifications. When I joined Kaplan they were looking to expand their reach in their upcoming midwest region.

Outcomes and Responsibilities:

  • I cultivated, nurtured and grew over 100+ business relationship within the new territory.

  • I recruited and developed a marketing and sales team from 1 to 12 individuals.

  • Within the first 12 months, we grew 30% in lead generation and 40% in sales growth.

  • Through events, education, and new founded partnerships we were able to capture our market and territory with an overwhelmingly growing presence. With our fast-growing customer base, the competition saw the huge market need and started to move in. We were faced with challenges large and small and overcame our competitions obstacles. We listened to what our customers/student wanted, continued to develop our product, rewarded loyalty and built our brand by setting the bar high, being innovative and experts in our field.
